On Saturday 11 June 2022 history was made when the first ever South Australian Catenian Circle, Adelaide City, was inaugurated at the Adelaide Royal Coach Hotel.
The event celebrated the culmination of 15 months hard work and committed endeavour by locals Michael Cogman and Kingsley Forsyth.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Australian National President Ralph Fitzpatrick in the presence of 11 visitors from interstate and overseas. Twenty-eight Catenians were welcomed into the Association.
Apart from being the first, in South Australia, the Circle also has the youngest membership profile in Australia with ages ranging from 18 to 60 and an average of 40 years.
Office bearers are Kingsley Forsyth (President), Andrew Mulholland (Vice President and Treasurer), Conroy Saldanha (Secretary), Rennie Louis (Chamberlain), Joshy Scaria (Registrar), Ramon Salazar (Marshall), Joshua Newnes (Marketing and Publicity Officer) and Michael Cogman (Provincial Councillor).
Kingsley is keen to grow the new Circle and establish ones and welcomes enquiries from Catholic men interested in becoming Catenians.
