Two long serving brothers were honoured at the recent meeting of the City of Perth Circle
At the meeting held on Monday 18th May 2026 of the City of Perth Circle, two long serving Brothers were presented with long service Certificates and miniatures by the recently installed Provincial 20 President, being Brother John Murray. John is also currently the President of the City of Perth Circle.
The first Brother was Brother Pat Kirwan, who reaches his 40 anniversary on the 2nd June 2026. Pat advised that he has since joining the Catenian Association, he has always been a member of the City of Perth Circle and has held the following positions. President three times, Secretary, once, Treasurer, once, Provincial Councillor, once and Marshall many times.

The second to receive his award, was Brother Keith Gerrans being a member of the City of Perth for 25 years being his anniversary on the 15th May 2026. Brother Keith has held no position on the Circle Council but has been a regular attendee at meetings. Keith advised that he enjoys the friendships he has developed over the time and this has contributed to his faith development. Keith has also contributed to other activities with the Catholic faith by being an Acolyte for more than 40 years at his Parish of St Lawrence and Mary Immaculate in Balcatta, Chairman and member of the Parish Council and for a lengthy period, a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Following the award ceremony and the taking of numerous photos, The other Brothers at the meeting warmly expressed their congratulations and thanks to both Pat and Keith.
