Northern Rivers group recently held their annual Mass.
Northern Rivers Group, lead by Stephen Powell, held its annual Mass, celebrated by Fr Peter Jones, and hosted a morning tea at Alstonville Parish’s 8.30am service on Sunday 12th July.
There was a good turn out of brothers and wives, with only a couple of members with unavoidable apologies.
The raffle for Northern Rivers Group’s charitable effort aids a school in Solomon Islands – the“San Isidro Centre” centre for handicapped deaf children. The raffle raised $200.
Morning tea for members and parishioners followed and everyone was treated a selection of tasty treats including plum pudding, lamingtons, scones, sandwiches etc with tea or coffee.
