A Big response at “Be Not Afraid Conference”

Four Province 21 Catenians and over 300 other Catholic men were in attendance at the Archdiocese of Sydney’s “Be Not Afraid” Men’s Conference held on 19th Sept at the St Mary’s Sydney Cathedral School Hall.

The Catenian stall attracted much interest with 9 expressions of interest received and also a number of requests to form new Circle/Groups, in SW Sydney, where we currently have no presence.

The Master of Ceremonies was Fr Lewi Barakat who is the Parish Priest of St Patrick’s Church Hill.
The Keynote speaker was Archbishop Anthony Fisher, followed by four other speakers who spoke on the theme of harnessing aggression to fight the Devil.
A Q+A session followed.

The talks were interspersed between the recitation of the 5 decades of the Rosary.
