CITY OF PERTH CIRCLE 279 – MEMBERSHIP MILESTONES
At the meeting of the City of Perth Circle held on Monday the 18th August 2025, a special event happened with the presentation of membership certificates to four Brothers.
Firstly, to Brother John Lambe for 30 years commitment to the Circle and the Catenian Association. John has also served in a few leadership roles within the Circle and as Provincial President of Province 20 in the 2004/05 year. Well done, Brother John.
The other three Brothers awarded 25 years certificates were Brothers Ian Moncrieff, Tom Dowling and Donald Devine. Congratulations and thanks to the three Brothers. Unfortunately, due to illness to both Tom and care management to Brother Donald and John Lambe’s wife, only Brother Ian was available for the direct presentation. Brother Ian was very pleased to receive the certificate and advised all that he had been Circle President on two occasions. Thank you to Ian, Tom and Donald.
After an enjoyable lunch, just a light-hearted moment was had by three Brothers, John Clune, Brian Arculus and Keith Gerrans (photo attached) tasting a chocolate Tim Tam with their coffee and promoting our current Pope Leo. Most of you would be aware of the publicity given to Pope Leo when he was the leader of the Augustinian Order and during his many visits to Australia promoted his favourite biscuits as the Tim Tams.
Brothers is you are free on the third Monday of each month; the Brothers of the City of Perth would greatly welcome you to their meeting commencing at 12.15pm and followed by a light lunch and fellowship.
